Philosophy

Every structure has a purpose, and every purpose is built for belonging.

HKM Construction is a Kenyan design-build practice, founded to redefine modern African architecture through a balance of craftsmanship, functionality and design purity.

We build residential, institutional and commercial work across Laikipia, Nyeri, Nairobi, Machakos and the Coastal region. From black-cotton soil homes and mountainside cottages to community clinics and contemporary urban residences, every project runs on the same disciplined workflow.

The studio sits in Nanyuki because that is where most of our sites are. We move to other regions when the work demands it, and bring the same coordination with us.

Henry leads HKM with a disciplined approach shaped by nearly a decade of delivering complex residential, institutional and infrastructure work across Kenya's varied terrain. His focus is operational: the planning, sequencing and coordination that turns drawings into finished buildings that belong to their places.
